There is no initiation fee. Membership is by waitlist — when you join the
waitlist we’ll confirm your spot via email. Once a space opens and your
application is accepted, you’ll receive an acceptance notice with details of
the tier you selected and the upcoming allocation schedule. At that time we
will charge your saved payment method for the first shipment corresponding to
your tier. The membership cost covers only the wine you purchase; there is no
separate membership surcharge. Member benefits include complimentary tickets to
our annual summer party and substantially reduced shipping rates on allocations
and additional purchases. If you need to change tiers, update payment details, or
shipping details, please contact member services at Membership@Arkenstone.com and
include your waitlist email.

Membership shipments are sent twice a year — typically in the spring (around March) and the fall (around September).

• Allocation cadence: Two annual allocations (spring and fall) containing the wines for your chosen tier.
• Early access: Throughout the year you’ll receive early-access offers
  and priority opportunities to purchase limited releases before they’re
  offered to our general mailing list.
• Notices and timing: Expect advance emails with billing dates,
  shipment timing, allocation contents, and any optional add‑on
  opportunities.

Charges are billed to the card on file.

• Billing schedule: Your card
  will be charged on the scheduled allocation date for the wine in your
  chosen tier (plus applicable taxes).
• Notices: You will receive
  multiple email notices ahead of each allocation detailing the billing
  date, shipment timing, contents of the allocation, and any optional add‑on
  wines available.
• Optional add‑ons: Add‑on
  wines are optional and will only be charged if you select them prior to
  the stated deadline in the allocation notice.
• Shipping & fees: Shipping
  is billed at the member preferred rate and may be charged separately or
  included in the allocation notice as indicated.
• Receipts & history:
  Receipts are emailed after each charge; billing history is available in
  your account.
• Payment updates & failed
  payments: To update your card, log in and go to Billing or email membership@arkenstone.com. If
  a charge fails, we’ll notify you to update payment—failed charges may
  delay shipment.

You may cancel your membership at any time. We understand needs and life events change, and we’ll process cancellations promptly when requested.

Pausing your membership

• If you’d prefer not to cancel, you may pause your membership
  instead. Paused memberships will stop future allocation charges and
  shipments until you request reactivation.
• Paused members are placed on a priority waitlist and will be
  readmitted with priority as wine becomes available. Upon readmission
  you’ll resume allocations according to your chosen tier and current
  availability.

How to pause or cancel

• Email membership@arkenstone.com or
  call the winery at +1 707-965-1020. Please include your full name and the
  email address on your account to help us locate your membership.

Timing and effective date

• Cancellations requested
  before an upcoming release will prevent future billing for that shipment.
  If a shipment has already been charged or shipped, the cancellation will
  not reverse that charge.

Fees and refunds

• Current shipments that have
  already been charged and/or shipped are subject to a 14%
  cancellation/restocking fee. Any remaining refundable amount (if
  applicable) will be processed back to the original payment method within
  7–10 business days after the fee is applied. No refunds are provided for
  past allocations already received by customer.

Account access after cancellation

• After cancellation you will
  retain access to member communications for a limited time while we
  finalize your account. Any member-only shipping discounts and event
  benefits will end upon cancellation.
